Well, surprise, surprise! We aren’t leaving quite yet! If you read our last post you know the packing and preparation process is quite complicated and we also didn’t factor into our timeline saying goodbye to all our friends. We have enjoyed being hosted at many dinners and parties in the last two weeks and feel truly loved by our California friends.
Life has been a whirlwind of sorting, packing, gifting, selling, and donating stuff. Along with many discussions of which items belong in which category. How we acquired so much stuff so quickly is truly a mystery. Even more amazing is how Sharon managed to fit it into our 300 square foot apartment! Alas, after the garage sale last weekend and eight large boxes packed for Honduras we are beginning to be able to see the floor again.
We both agree, life will be so much simpler once we put our kickstands up and hit the road!
So, that being said, our ever moving leave date is somewhere in the vicinity of May 24th, but don’t quote me on that!
what is the new ETD?
We are shooting for Friday of this coming week. Waiting for motorcycle parts and a few other things to come together :).
